My love for music grew from its ability to make me feel transported to my own inner world. Growing up in Knoxville, Tennessee, the trancelike elements in my parents’ old rock records helped me stay grounded as I bounced back and forth between the alternate realities of rural and suburban life while navigating my dedication to an athletic career in soccer.

Eventually I stumbled upon electronic music. Artists like Seven Lions and Illenium had even more of what I already liked about the U2 and Dave Matthews Band songs on my iPod. I was hooked, and I enjoyed sitting in my parents’ office chair making music on their computer, trying to mimic the magic I was hearing.

By the time I reached high school, I was gifted my own computer. Every minute I wasn’t training or doing homework, I was making music on it. I collaborated with friends and used my skills to help out with school clubs and projects, becoming known for my unique interest.

When medical complications ended my athletic career, I turned my discipline towards music. I earned an Audio Production degree from Middle Tennessee State University while making connections with all kinds of talented people. Now, as I leap between gigs as an A/V tech, I spend every free second I have making music that takes listeners into that secret inner world that has helped me survive to this day.
